This year’s two-day Houston Fire Fighters Calendar Premier was a tremendous success. As a result of many good neighbors supporting us, our charity raised a record $20,000.00. We want to recognize all those who helped us raise this record amount here.
Big Texas Dance Hall -
A BIG THANK YOU to Chris Chelli and the entire staff of Big Texas Dance Hall and Saloon for hosting our two-day premier. We appreciate their hard work at providing an enjoyable and safe environment for our firemen and fans. It is also well worth noting that Big Texas Dance Hall and Saloon not only provided the venues for our premier, they also contributed $4,500.00 to our charity. We tip our hat to Chris Chelli and the entire team at this fine establishment.
Houston Media Groups -
We want to thank all the media groups and people who helped get the word out for our premier. There are many to thank and we certainly apologize if we missed some here. Please know that we appreciate your support.
104.1 KRBE -
A huge thank you to all the folks at KRBE. Especially to Summer O'Hare for helping us coordinate and promote our event. Thanks to Summer for also arranging on air mentions and appearances. A special thank you to Roula & Ryan with the morning show for hosting our firemen on the air. They also sent Special K to MC our Friday night premier! Thanks to Tyler Frye of the Top 8 at 8 Show, for supporting us on his show. WOW, KRBE went all out for charity! THANK YOU!
One of our most loyal and beloved supporters is Debra Duncan of Great Day Houston. Ms. Duncan has consistently supported our charity with her popular television show and this year was no exception. Thanks to her and Jennifer Altheide of KHOU for promoting our charity and helping us sell calendars. The news folks at KHOU took every opportunity to mention our charity and the sale of our calendars. Thanks to Lily Jang, Rekah Muddaraj, Chita Johnson, Darby Douglas and Sara Van Aernum for their help and support. One last thank you, this one to Roger Clemens for hanging out with us at the KHOU studio.
Thanks to Linda V for hosting the event on Saturday night and making everyone feel welcome. Everyone had a great time and Linda V was a big part of this fun. This is the second year that 93Q has helped us with our premier and we are indeed grateful for their continued support.
We want to recognize, thank and salute John Nguyen owner and operator of Tac-7 Photography for returning this year, after a life threatening illness almost took him from us last year. John is another one of those generous Houstonians who believes in our charity and gives of his personal time and talent to support us. We are glad he is back and doing well.
There are many unsung heroes who gave of their time and money to make our premier such a success. To all of these supporters, we send you the biggest thank you!
